After a sucessful production of ‘So Human An Animal’ in San Francisco, the Xdrop girls bought a van, moved out of our apartment, quit our jobs and hit the road to begin what has now been named ‘Art for Peace Tour 2008.’ Our adventure began as simply an idea to share our work with people from all over the states who may not normally get the opportunity to experiece progressive dance. Limited (or possibly liberated) by a close to non-existent budget, we had to do it a different way. We packed up our van with our props and camping gear to step into the unfamiliar world of living in a car for five months. We booked only six shows in advance (Los Angeles, San Diego, two in Albuquerque, and two in New York) in order to have freedom and opportunity to take our dance to the streets and to atypical venues.
